The Children, Youth and Family Committee is putting together a Lenten Family Devotion from Illustrated Ministry. It has seven weeks of Scripture, reflection, discussion, activities, prayer, and coloring pages – one for each week in Lent and Easter. Scripture passages come from Luke, John and Mark. Discussion/Activities include how we can have the strength to make good choices, different ways to communicate our feelings, creating a cloud in a jar (this is really cool!!), how to encourage others, creating a family band out of recyclable materials, and different ways to pray (this uses a flashlight!). If you are interested in this for your family, please let Sue know by Tuesday, March 1.
Our next Trivia night will be March 2nd. Mark your calendars!
We are currently in conversation with Shadyside Presbyterian Church to see if our Mars Hill mission trip will happen this summer! This is a mission trip to Mars Hill, NC. People 12 years and older go and rehabilitate homes during the week. Some adults stay on campus and lead a children ministry for our children 11 and under. Volunteers can do either! The mission trip will take place July 10-16. If you are interested or would like more information, please let Chris know!

If you are unable to join us in person, but would like to continue to make your tithe or offering, there are several ways to do so. You can mail a check to the church. You can give online through paypal https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=KJTC62AUPNWCE&source=url You can also set up a payment through your banks online bill pay feature. Paypal charges the church approximately 3%, so please consider either consider giving through one of the other two ways or adding 3% to your offering to offset the fee.
