November 11th News and Notes

Celebration Sunday

Celebration Sunday is November 14th!  This is the day that we celebrate all God has given us and make our pledges for the coming year.  If you would like to submit your pledge online, you can use the following link

Thanksgiving Gift Cards

The Mission and Service Committee will be collecting gift cards again for any grocery store in the area for Thanksgiving.

Please leave them in the Food Pantry basket or give them to Mary Jo or Janice by Sunday, November 14th. We will deliver them the next day.

Covid Protocols

The board reviews the Covid protocols every month.  We will slowly be adding more music into the service.  We will be adding the Gloria Patri, and a third hymn, as well as the choir singing on Christmas Eve.

Greening of the Church

Join us on November 21st after worship to decorate the church for Advent.  Many hands make light work!

Advent Wreath

The CYF committee will be hosting a time for the children of the church to come and make Advent wreaths. The activity will be socially distanced in the sanctuary and masks will be required.  All materials will be provided.  Please let Sue Kennedy know by November 18 if you plan on attending. If you would like to have your family make a wreath, but are unable to attend, please let us know and we can deliver the materials so you can make it at home!

Weekly Prayer Meeting

Join us for the weekly Prayer Meeting on Tuesdays at 7:30PM via Zoom. You can join us through this link.

Electronic Sign

An anonymous donor has made a donation towards an electronic sign at the street.  We are putting together a team to explore what this might entail, how much it cost, and how to best utilize the donation.  If you are interested in helping out, please contact Diane Eades.

Tech Team

Ever dream of being a producer or a director?  Now is your chance!  We are looking for people to learn how to work the livestreaming camera during worship.  If you are interested in helping out, please contact Russ Doughty.

Worship Livestream

Now that our worship is back in the sanctuary, we are also livestreaming every Sunday on our YouTube channel –

If you are unable to join us in person, but would like to continue to make your tithe or offering, there are several ways to do so.  You can mail a check to the church.  You can give online through paypal   You can also set up a payment through your banks online bill pay feature.  Paypal charges the church approximately 3%, so please consider either consider giving through one of the other two ways or adding 3% to your offering to offset the fee.
