March 31st News and Notes

Holy Week

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 1st, we will have our Maundy Thursday service at 7:00.  It will be a service of poetry and elements and we will celebrate Communion as part of it, so bring whatever bread and cup is common to your table.

Friday, April 2nd, our Good Friday Tennebrae service will be at 7:00 on Zoom.

Both services can be accessed through Zoom link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/159967508?pwd=VFlySnpyc2xZb3ZQUkdaZ0w5ZU5rZz09

Easter Drive-in Service

This Sunday we will celebrate Easter with a Drive-In service.  We will worship at the church at 10:00.  The service will be transmitted on 104.5, so you can listen on in your car.  We ask that you park with a space between each car, if possible.  If you want to bring a chair and sit on the driver side of your car, you are welcome to!  We will also be broadcast via Zoom, but will not be as interactive as most Sundays.

Instead of Easter lillies, we are asking that people bring flowers to decorate and then take home with them!

April Services

Chris will be on vacation and study leave the two weeks following Easter.  Le Quan Turner will be filling the pulpit on Zoom in his absence.  On April 25th, we will have another Drive-in service, weather permitting.

Giving

Several people have asked how they can continue to make their tithes and offerings while we are not meeting in person.  There are several ways.  You can mail a check to the church.  You can give online through paypal https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=KJTC62AUPNWCE&source=url   You can also set up a payment through your banks online bill pay feature.  Paypal charges the church approximately 3%, so please consider either consider giving through one of the other two ways or adding 3% to your offering to offset the fee.
